Description of the
FMO Soil Remediation is a liquid, water-dilutable active concentrate based on organic raw materials. It serves as a nutrient source for microorganisms that break down hydrocarbons and other organic pollutants up to 20x faster than nature. Quick and uncomplicated application, eliminates the need for costly removal and disposal of contaminated soil, significantly accelerates the biological degradation of oil and other hydrocarbons, reduces odour nuisance after a few days, non-toxic to humans and the environment, not bioaccumulative or persistent, based on biosurfactants and natural raw materials, fully biodegradable.
Advantages
Rapid extraction of oil & hydrocarbons
- Breakdown & degradation of 85-98 % of pollution within a few weeks
- Effective for mineral oils C11-C40
- Measurable reduction of oil odour immediately after application (day 1)
- Increase the microorganisms present by a factor of 20
- Activation of the soil's natural self-healing powers
Environmentally friendly & safe
- 100 % biodegradable ingredients
- No protective clothing required
- No hazardous substance classification
- Water hazard class 0 (working solution)
- No nitrate contamination
application
We will provide you with detailed application instructions with mixing tables, dosages, best practice recommendations, etc. after purchase.
Dosage
x kg mineral oil hydrocarbon / tonne of soil multiplied by a factor of 0.2
= x litres FMO soil remediation / tonne of soil
Example: 5 kg MKW / 1 tonne of soil → 5 × 0.2 = 1 litre of FMO soil remediation per tonne of soil
- Depending on the absorption capacity of the soil, between 10 % (minimum) and 2 % (maximum). As a rule, 5 %iger solution is used.
- The application is repeated in several doses until the hydrocarbon content is back to a natural level. Depending on the degradation result, the quantity is approximately halved with each dosage.
- Decomposition takes place optimally at a soil moisture content of 60-80 % of the maximum absorption capacity of the soil. The ambient temperature at the time of application must be at least 8 °C.
