öFix GmbH, as it exists today, has been in existence since 2021, but the company's history goes back to 1993. Find out more under History. We develop, produce and store our cleaners at our company headquarters in Schüttorf. Our sales area covers the DACH region and parts of Benelux. Together with our partner company Eco-Nova, we combine our expertise in all aspects of cleaners.

At one with nature
The core of what we do is to develop and manufacture cleaners with the optimum balance of effectiveness and environmental compatibility. One focus is on cleaners against oil and grease contamination. These contaminants in particular cause great damage to the environment if released unintentionally. With our FMO cleaners, we offer a solution to restore the balance of nature quickly and in an environmentally friendly way. But we are also constantly developing new cleaners for many other contaminants, such as paint and adhesive residues, limescale deposits, etc. Our öFix ECO product range is constantly growing and offers many environmentally friendly solutions.
Our history
Over 30 years of experience
öFix cleaners have been used successfully throughout Germany for over 30 years. With the founding of Nixdorf Vertrieb Deutschland in 1993, the development of the cleaners began under the name Nixdorf FMO. The main application of öFix FMO cleaners was and is the cleaning and removal of oil spills by fire brigades, road maintenance services, etc.
1993
Foundation of Nixdorf Vertrieb Deutschland
Foundation of the company Nixdorf Vertrieb Deutschland based in Nordhorn by Helmut Nixdorf. With the foundation of the company, cleaners for wet post-cleaning on a microbial basis were developed and distributed for the first time.
2019
Takeover by Eco-Nova GmbH
In 2019, Nixdorf Vertrieb Deutschland was transferred from Helmut Nixdorf to Eco-Nova GmbH due to the company's age.
2020
öFix is registered as a trade mark - product development
The new modern brand „öFix“ was officially registered in 2020. The previous product names were changed from Nixdorf FMO to öFix FMO.
The formulations of FMO Road and FMO Water have been specially developed by adjusting the ingredients so that they are no longer classified as hazardous to water. This allows them to be used in the environment.
2022
öFix GmbH
With the founding of öFix GmbH, the öFix product range is transferred from Eco-Nova GmbH to öFix GmbH. The business areas of Eco-Nova and öFix are separated as a result of the foundation in order to optimise the focus on customers.

Nature offers the best solutions
We rely on natural and harmless raw materials for development and production. As is so often the case, nature produces the best solutions.
Biosurfactants are an important component in our cleaners. These are produced using microorganisms in an innovative production process. Our biosurfactants have excellent cleaning performance and are also safe and gentle on people, animals and the environment.
In addition to biosurfactants, we rely on the Bio-Booster, which promotes the growth of microorganisms and the dirt-dissolving properties of our cleaners.
Nutrients for microorganisms also play an important role in the development and formulation of our cleaners. Especially in the case of liquid oil binding agents, these are vital for promoting the biodegradation of hydrocarbons.
In addition to the most important ingredients, we use a range of other ingredients that fulfil our high standards of quality, sustainability and cleaning performance.
